Hi, I'm Linda Ung — a cinematographer, director, editor, and all-around story chaser.
Growing up in multicultural Sydney shaped the way I see the world, and it's a lens I bring into every project: one that’s curious, empathetic, and full of heart.
I started my creative journey at the University of Western Sydney, diving deep into directing, shooting, and editing — and I haven't stopped since. Over the past two decades, I’ve shot two feature films, directed a nationally broadcast TV series, and edited thousands of hours of content, from indie gems to the Emmy Award-winning children’s show Dirtgirlworld (ABC Kids Australia, CBC Canada, CBeebies UK).
Whether it's a soulful documentary, a bold drama, or a feel-good narrative, my goal is always the same: to create immersive, emotionally honest films that stay with you. With a strong eye for detail and a love for collaboration, I’m all about capturing those moments that feel real — the ones that hit you in the heart before you even realize it.
I'm passionate about storytelling that amplifies voices, challenges perspectives, and leaves a lasting impact.
Every project is a chance to explore something new — and I can't wait to see where the next story leads.

"You’re never going to kill storytelling, because it’s built in the human plan. We come with it.”
